Halloween Happenings!

Calvin and Mina both had Halloween costume parties on Friday.  Here is Calvin, or should I say, ROBIN, with his class.

Here is Mina, the black cat, at her party, lined up for the big parade.  I was a helper for her party, which was super fun!

Friday was also our ward trunk-or-treat, so here we are getting ready for that.

Mayzie's 3rd Birthday - part 2

 We celebrated Mayzie Birthday and my Mom's birthday together the next weekend!

 Always exciting to get MORE presents!

 My Dad cracks me up, he bought these reading glasses and didn't realize they are women's.  They have mother of pearl inset on the sides.  He wears them anyway.

 Mayzie got a tea set from my parents, and LOVES it.  It has a huge teapot and is made of metal so it won't break!  Sweet!

 It just happened to be Calvin's half birthday, so he got a batman leapster game.

 From us, she got a Tag Jr. and some books, it's pretty cool, though she hasn't gotten too into it yet. 

 Here are the birthday girls!  Mayzie got this bee costume for her b-day too!  Lucky girl!

Mayzie's 3rd Birthday - part 1

 Joe came home for a visit in October, and it was a close enough to Mayzie's birthday, so we celebrated!  We spent the weekend in Racine and got to see lots of friends and family.

Mina's new look!

 Mina lost her first tooth, a week after her 6th birthday!  She woke up one morning and it was loose.  2 days later it came out! 

 And, she now has bangs.  One morning before school she came to me and said she wanted me to cute her some bangs.  She had already begun the process the night before by chopping a chunk of hair herself : (  So, I reluctantly complied.  They really look cute on her though!  I may have to cut some bangs for myself!

Calvin's first day of preschool

Calvin was super excited for his first day of preschool!!!  He had a great day and has been loving it ever since!

We had such a great weekend with Joe home!  The kids and I could not get enough of him! 

Mina got an umbrella and raincoat for her birthday, and had to try it out.

This was also the last time we would all be together at our house in Grayslake.  We sold it (yay!), and would close before Joe would be back again.  So here is our last picture together at that house.
