Grandma and Grandpa C visit!

 Our garden did pretty well this year, I definitely learned a lot and found out what grows well (cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, carrots, lettuce,pumpkins, and herbs) and what does not (radishes, tomatoes, beets, watermelon, eggplant, and peppers).  Hopefully next year I'll have more success! 

 Joe's parents came to visit for a couple weeks at the end of the summer and helped us get our yard in shape!  We had lots of areas that we felt pretty helpless about.  Joe's Mom pretty much single-handedly weeded the entire yard - which was a HUGE feat!  Then Mom and Dad put down landscape fabric and gravel everywhere there was weeds and dirt.  It looks wonderful!
