One of my favorite rainy day/stuck-inside day activities is tent making! Last week when it was rainy we went to home depot and got some more of these clamps. They have some for 99 cents and they make tent making super easy because you can clamp the blanket to anything! The kids liked that I used the t.v. as part of our structure, so they can watch t.v. in the tent.

my kids love to make tents as well. and then they stay up forever! i might have to look into getting some clamps because that would probably diminish the 'collapse' factor so often...and then my rebuilding.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! I think I will have to get some of those clamps...rainy day or not-- we're going to build one. Thanks-- for the cute idea. You should hear what the plastic people in my house say! We should get them all together for a conference sometime :)
