Wow, we did A LOT of celebrating for Mina's birthday this year! I think it was mostly just the timing. My sister came into town the week before, so it was a combo Stephanie party/Mina birthday party. So we celebrated with my family first...
My Mom rented a big "whopper hopper" for the kids, since some of my cousins would be there with their kids. So fun!
Aunt Steph sent Mina a gumball machine, as you can see all the kids LOVE it!
Then for her actual birthDAY, I brought her breakfast in bed, which she thought was the coolest thing ever. Calvin already requested that we do this for his birthday.
From us Mina got a mini stapler (as seen below), a pair of overalls (i have no idea why, but she
talked about wanting these for a while), some pads of paper, a fairy search book, and a bike!
She also got her hair cut somewhere in there.
Her birthday also happened to be the LAST week day Kiddieland would ever be open (this summer was their last season before closing the doors for good - it was a place I had gone as a child, and my parents had gone as kids), so my parents took us there that day.
Then we celebrated with Joe's family at our house. Mina does not like cake so I made her a gumball, marshmallow, gummy worm, licorice "cake."

Wow, what a birthday!!! We love you Mina! You are an amazing girl!
Mina wrote all of her "thank you" notes this year! I helped her with all the spelling, but she carefully wrote them all out and told me what she wanted to write.
